Seafoam Cafe sits just a step away from Thirroul railway station, making it a convenient stop for locals and visitors looking to start their day with quality coffee and a casual breakfast. Its setting within a surf shop lends the space a laid-back, beachside character that draws in cyclists, commuters, and weekend strollers alike. The atmosphere here is relaxed but lively, particularly on weekend mornings when friendly staff serve up strong, well-crafted flat whites alongside conversations and the hum of early day activity.

Patrons often enjoy sitting outside, soaking up the morning sun, or grabbing a quick takeout to fuel up before hitting the beach or heading off on local adventures. The cafe is known among locals for delivering solid breakfast staples without fuss—the bacon and egg roll stands out as a particularly popular choice, praised for its tasty simplicity and generous portions. The breakfast burger and avocado toast also hold their own as satisfying, no-frills options.

Adjacent to the Thirroul railway station this funky cafe embodies a chill vibe with fabulous “hot”coffee and the cheapest and most delicious bacon & egg roll you’ll find anywhere. Very gracious staff wearing smiles on a Sunday morning. A most enjoyable breakfast

I get a big breaky at Sea Foam every week or two , the coffee is bloody great , well I have only had the flat white and that is , in my opinion , the best in the Illawarra. The food cannot be faulted . Go for the Big Breakfast, well priced and delicious, the B + E rolls are are well worth it too . Staff are friendly and enjoy their work . Well worth a visit

Stunning surf shop cafe. The best coffee - hot and strong. And a fabulous bacon and egg roll. Hit the spot after a long cycle ride to the Gong and back. Thank you! I will be back for sure!!!!

Went here for breakfast while my EV was charging opposite. Good choice. I sat outside, with this man’s best friend next to me. He’d already breakfasted. We both enjoyed the early morning sunshine. Only a short wait before my flat white arrived, followed by bacon, eggs, hash brown and relish - all just right. A very tasty breakfast, to recharge me while my car did the same. It’s inside the Byrne Surf shop. Would be easy to miss, if not for the tables and chairs outside.

Great coffee & very quick too! Awesome atmosphere as it’s built into a core surf shop with a long & rich local history.

Nice little surprise. Always thought, well I don't surf so won't go there, but getting off the train (you can't miss it) we walked right on over and had a bite to eat with coffee. Well, it was very good Youngster serving you, very polite and friendly, definitely not distant. They seem to want you to enjoy your visit, can only say well done The on toast and brekkie burger were great. The was not stingy, the toast was well toasted, not just warmed , could have a little more fetta on, but still enjoyed it. The on the was exactly as we asked, turned over, cooked but still a bit runny inside and the edges of the white were not burnt hard making it generally unchewable. Excellent and well done hat's off to you for putting in the effort to satisfy a request. The was perfectly made, the most important part of your day . Can either make or break your day Thank you for a surprisingly great experience by young people who I presume want to deliver a good experience

Came here with the family and had a fantastic breakfast, the corn fritters were fantastic deep fried greatness that everyone in our group loved. Peter managed to cook and serve up 4 meals and 4 coffees all by himself in less than 15 minutes so our group was quite impressed with the service and he also gave us a dragon fruit shot after we finished. Definitely be back here again.
